Workshop

The Workshop caters the need of training of students in the basic workshop trades. It also provides advance training on production technology and Process. The highly talented staff of this department will endeavour to "train the brains and impact skills to the hands" of the students using Ultra-modern equipment in its workshop.

It is equipped with all machines & equipments. The students also find an opportunity to work on packages like Pro-Engineer and Auto-Cad. The students also go for research and development in the area of mechanical engineering and related areas with work on different projects.

The workshop is comprised of the following shops well equipped with modern machine tools and related accessories:

• Machine shop houses Lathe Machines, Drilling Machines, Horizontal Shaper, Vertical Shaper, Milling Machines, Planers and Bench Grinders etc. along with their respective attachments and tools.
• Fitting Shop here the students are given filing, marking, punching, blanking and metal cutting experiences with adequate tools.
• Carpentry Shop has planers, hacksaws and various carpentry tools.
• Welding Shop is equipped with MIG, TIG, Gas-welding sets and Arc welding sets along with all the necessary tools.
• Foundry Shop consists of various patterns, sand preparing and mould preparing equipments.
• Forging Shop consists of furnaces and various Forging tools.

The workshop will be equipped with a CNC Lathe trainer and a CNC Milling Machine along with latest version of CNC compatible Software-Master.
